03/10/2023: Here’s the latest weekly update from Kildysart GAA Club.
Results:
The Junior Men's team lost to Corofin in the Junior B Premier Quarter Final on Saturday last. Well done to the team for what they achieved this season; getting to a league final and the championship Q/F – looking forward to the 2024 season.
Well done to the St. John Bosco first-year boys who attended their first blitz in Kilrush and won all three of their matches.
Fixtures:
The U17 boys are in a rescheduled Division 2 Shield semi-final v St. Breckans in Kildysart on Saturday at 2pm. This game was postponed from Sunday last as the opposition playoff match was delayed due to weather. The winner will face Kilmurry Ibrickane who had a big win over Clondegad in their semi-final.
The U10 boys are hosting a blitz this Sunday at 10am v KIB.
Looking ahead, the U14 Boys Division 1 semi-final v Doora Barefield will take place over the weekend of 14/15th Oct – with details to be published once known.

Field Development: The field is now in use for training and matches for all ages though there is still work to be completed with the fencing, dugouts, and lighting. The club has kicked off its Development draw and sellers are actively calling door to door. Your support is very much appreciated. Tickets can also be bought online. There will be 4 monthly draws starting in November, with the December draw being the Christmas bonus bonanza.
Lotto: The lotto jackpot is a whopping €10,600 and 3 tickets can be purchased for as little as €5 with no commitment by tapping here. Lotto is also available in the pubs and shops and outside Centra on Friday and Saturday from 10-1pm.
