Results: Kildysart/Coolmeen U18's lost to Cooraclare on Sunday last 3-10 to 1-6. Their next match is Sunday week (10th) when they travel to Doonbeg.
Fixtures:
O’Gorman Cup – The opponents for the Senior's opening match in the O’Gorman Cup have changed as Lissycasey has withdrawn from the competition. The match still takes this Sunday but we are traveling to the Kilrush Community Field on the Cooraclare Road to take on Naomh Eoin. Thrown in is at 12 noon.
The West Clare U13 Mini League starts this Sunday and will take place at Kildysart Astro Turf. Kildysart/Coolmeen are fielding two teams, along with Lissycasey’s two teams and one each from Eire Og and Doora Barefield. The matches are 20 minutes long and each team will play 2 matches on the day.

School's Final: Congratulations and best wishes to St John Bosco Senior Boys football team on reaching TUS Corn Micheal O Fuireastail U19 E football final on Monday last by defeating Thurles in the semi-final on a score line of 5-11 to 3-09. They now play Millstreet Community College this coming Monday, March 4th in Mick Neville Park Rathkeale, with throw-in at 12 noon. This was a knockout competition with over thirty schools involved in this division. St John Bosco’s path to final: St John Bosco 3-12 Cobh 0-9, St John Bosco 3-08 Castlegregory 1-8, St John Bosco 1-12 Ballyingarry 2-3, St John Bosco 5-11 Thurles Gael Scoil 3-9. The squad is made of players from five local clubs. Kildysart, Coolmeen, Shannon Gaels, Clondegad & Lissycasey. Kildysart /Coolmeen players involved include Jamie Sheehan-captain, Cillian Kelly, Harrison Scanlan, Alan Hassett, Jessie Collins, Quin Collins, Dylan Cooney, Conor Murrihy, Jack Hanrahan & Michael Kennedy. The team is coached by Mr. Michael O’Dwyer and Kevin Kelly (Lacknashannagh).
Allianz League: The Clare Footballers took their third win from four with an easy win over Wicklow on Sunday last in Cusack Park, Clare 2-15, Wicklow 0-8. Emmet McMahon’s interception set up Cormac Murray for his second goal and Emmet has continued his prowess from placed balls, firing over 4 points on the day. Diarmuid O’Donnell was introduced in the 53rd minute for Murray and contributed a free from the left boot. Clare is still in the running for promotion and currently sits joint third with Sligo, with Down and Westmeath tied for the top spot. Clare travels to Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale on Saturday (2nd March, 6pm) to take on Limerick who have yet to record a win this year. Tickets can be purchased here.

Lidl Ladies National Football League: Clare Ladies had a rest week last week and head to the Wee County this Sunday to take on Louth.

Gaelic Games Integration: The GAA, Camogie and Ladies Football Associations have announced 2027 as the date for full integration for the three organisations. The Steering Group, chaired by former Uachtarán na hÉireann Mary McAleese, will be presenting proposals for the full integration at the Annual Congresses of the three bodies in the coming weeks. Kildysart was the first club in Clare to adopt the Club Model in 2013 when Ladies Football was incorporated into the club and now they are joined by Eire Óg, Wolfetones, Kimihil, and 3 other Clare clubs. The Steering Committee notes that integration at Croke Park, Provincial, and County level will bring benefits such as Joint Fixtures Group, Facilities Equal Access, one National Children’s Office, updated One Club Guidance, One Membership, and One Injury benefit fund.
