Clare LGFA are currently looking for expressions of interest to lead/join the management teams for the following age groups for the 2026 season:
· U14
- U16
Positions available are as follows:
· Team Manager, role and responsibilities as laid out by Clare LGFA executive
- Head coach/ Session planner, responsible to collate the training plan and structure
- Coaches 2-3, take responsibility for groups of players, provide feedback to head coach and also to players
- Assistant coaches 2-3, to assist and learn from the coaches and to gain confidence to use the knowledge going forward
- Team Admins, to assist in any admin role that the management may have, attendance records, training records, communications with squads, help in organizing pitches, fundraising etc.
- Kit person/ timekeeper, manage all aspects of kit from jerseys to training equipment and balls, also to work as timekeeper for drills etc during training sessions as set out by the training program
- FLO’s
- Statistics, if possible
- S&C, if possible
Persons involved with the county underage squads will need to
· Be a member of the Association
- Be Garda Vetted/ Access NI checked
- Complete a Safeguarding 1 Gaelic Games Workshop
- Hold a basic coaching qualification if in a coaching role
