Summer? What summer? 🌧️😅 It may be a bit quiet on the games front, but we’ve players involved in the Gaynor Cup , others preparing for the Kennedy Cup ⚽, more winning Schools Finals 🥇, and a few doing battle with the Leaving Cert and Junior Cert 📚✍️Our senior team took one look at their week off and decided the sensible thing to do was climb Carrauntoohil 🏔️🤣
On top of that, we’ve had players rowing currachs 🚣 and bringing home trophies 🏆, while somebody somewhere thought it was also a good time to launch a nursery group 👶🙈Standard GAA club behaviour really. Nothing quiet about it. 💙

As if football wasn’t enough, our Adult Men’s team decided there’d be no rest for the wicked and headed off to climb Carrauntoohil at the weekend 🏔️🤣
A big shout-out to Noel Cusack, who led the climb — we’re sure it was an enjoyable day, even if there may be a few sore legs after it! 😅👏

Isabelle is currently taking part in the Gaynor Cup, while Nicky is getting set for the Kennedy Cup in UL next week.
Best of luck to them both — we are extremely proud and hope they enjoy the experience.
A tough day for Siney and Robbie, who lost out to Down in the Minor Football Tier 2 All-Ireland Quarter Final.
Both can be very proud of their efforts in the Clare jersey, and we are sure this won’t be the last time we see them involved at county level. They have now turned their focus to the Leaving Cert and Junior Cert respectively. Best of luck to both with the exams ahead. 💙

There was no shortage of support for Noel on the day either, with some very enthusiastic followers more than happy to make an early exit from school to cheer him on 😄
