07/03/2020:  Kildysart were full value for their promotion to Cusack Cup beating Doonbeg away in the opening round 2-8 to 2-5. Kildysart limited the Magpies to a single score in the first half while amounting 1-5. The home side had the breeze for the second half but their comeback was cut short when Padraig Aherne was sent off for a straight red. A second goal for Doonbeg brought them to within a point (1-8 to 2-4) but Kildysart responded in kind to stretch the lead to 4. Final score Kildysart 2-8, Doonbeg 2-5.
