21/09/2019: The Kildysart Ladies Junior B team are celebrating their County Final win over Wolfetones this evening, 2-6 to 1-6. The match, officiated by Martin Nolan, took place in Clarecastle and the large Kildysart contingent didn’t go home disappointed with plenty of exciting football on display from both teams. Having only fielded their first adult ladies team in 2018, Kildysart set a target to improve upon their Shield honours from last year. The team, managed by John Byrne, suffered their only loss of this season against the Wolfetones so they were determined to reverse that tonight. It was a close match through out and Wolfetones threatened to equalise in the dying minutes but Kildysart hung on for the win.
