10/02/2023: Kildysart GAA Club welcomes two first-time members to its executive with Noel Garry taking on the role of chairperson and Pauline McSweeney coming on board as secretary. Cyril Kelly makes a return to the executive as vice chair along with returning officers Cheryl Ginnane (assistant secretary), Agnes O’Donoghue (Lotto coordinator), and Tricia Donnellan (Treasurer & assistant PRO). Shane McNelis takes on the role of Coaching officer which was vacant for the past two years. This role involves coordinating the continuing development of our coaches and players. The Club Children’s Officer is Sinead Fox, whose role is to ensure the implementation and promotion of the relevant Child Welfare and Protection Codes and Guidelines for good practice so as to ensure that young people can participate, enjoy and benefit from Gaelic Games. Club stalwart, Noel McMahon continues in his role as field maintenance coordinator and John Thomas Cavanagh is once again in the PRO hot spot. Go raibh maith agat a John Byrne for taking on the Irish officer’s role and to John Meade as substance control officer. This year's adult players reps are Gillian Finucane & Diarmuid O'Donnell. As always, we are grateful to Father Albert for his role as the Patron of our club.
The field development committee will be busy finishing off the pitch for a late spring/early summer opening and organising fundraisers to pay back our loan for the project.
