12/03/2023: The Junior Ladies make it two wins from two with another impressive team performance, this time beating Eire Óg2 by 3-17 to 1-0. With 7 scorers on the day, Kildysart moved the ball well and had options all over the pitch. Goalie Emma Byrne and the tenacious backs kept the townies to no score in the first half while the Blues popped over 15 points.

The weather conditions deteriorated in the second half and the scoring slowed down as a result. However, there was still plenty of action as both teams raised green flags (Kildysart x3) and Eire Óg’s only score of the match. Final score: Kildysart 3-17, Eire Óg 1-0. Referee: Ciaran Sheehan.

Kildysart has a break for a few weeks but then hosts Burren Gaels 2 (who have also started very strongly this year) on the weekend of 2nd April. Thanks to Coolmeen GAA for hosting the match.
