17/06/2023: The Junior A Ladies championship is made up of 2 groups of 4 with Kildysart in Group A with Banner 2, Newmarket, and Fergus Rovers 2. Group B is comprised of Wolfetones, Doora Barefield 2, Cuil Gaels, and Crusheen. The championship starts on 23rd July with Kildysart hosting Banner 2 and continues with rounds 2 & 3 a fortnight apart. The quarter-finals are on 3rd September and will take the shape of 1A v 4B, 2A v 3B, etc with the winners competing in the Cup semi-final and the beaten teams competing in the Shield Semi-finals. The Semis take place on 17th September and the winners compete in the Cup Final and the beaten teams compete in the Shield Finals. The finals are to be held on 1st October.
All matches must be played on or before the appointed date and Sunday 2pm is the default time, if changes cannot be agreed upon. The Championship is 15-a-side with unlimited subs during the round matches and 5 during the knockout stages. All knockout matches must have a “result on the day”.
