19/07/2023: Here’s the latest weekly update from Kildysart GAA Club.
Results:
The U17 boys lost their opening match v Miltown by a scoreline of 2-16 to 0-9.
The U13 Academy boys had a win over Kilrush/Kilimer 3-10 to 3-7
The U12 Ladies lost their match v the Burren Gaels 6-3 to 2-9
Fixtures:
The Junior Ladies begin their 2023 Junior A campaign with a home match v Banner 2 on Thursday (20th July) at the Kildysart secondary school pitch, with throw-in at 7pm. Tap here for more detail re the championship.
The Senior Men are in the O’Gorman Cup final for the second time in three years as they face Miltown on Saturday at 6:30 in Doonbeg.
The U13 Academy boys host Lissycasey on Thursday at 7pm.
The U13 Boys travel to Cratloe in a re-fixture for the round 1 match. Throw-in is on Saturday at 10am.
The U17’s host KIB in round 2 on Monday 24th July at 7pm in Coolmeen.

Senior Championship Jerseys
The club wishes to thank David McSweeney of Castle Tile & Stone for his continued and generous sponsorship of our Senior Mens Team. To mark the start of the 2023 senior championship, Castle Tile & Stone has kindly sponsored a new set of jerseys as Kildysart start their chase for the Jack Daly Cup. The first round of Championship sees Kildysart play Ennistymon in Corofin on Friday 4th August at 7pm. Best of luck to the team and management. Tap here for photos.

All Ireland Finals Fundraising Raffle
Hurling: The draw for the pair of All Ireland Hurling Final tickets will be held in the clubhouse this evening (Wednesday 19th July) at 9pm and will be live-streamed on the Kildysart GAA Facebook page. UPDATE: The winner is Bernard Byrne from Monaghan. Watch the live stream of the draw here.

The Clare County Board is currently running a draw called Win A House In Ennis. The top prize is a house in Ennis or a cash equivalent of €330,000. The club gets €30 for each hard copy ticket that is sold and €20 for an online purchase when our club is nominated. If interested in a ticket, please contact any member of the executive.
