03/08/2023: Here’s the latest weekly update from Kildysart GAA Club.
Results:
The U13 boys drew with Lissycasey in their round 4 match, Kildysart/Coolmeen 1-9, Lissycasey 3-3
The U13 Academy boys beat Clarecastle 5-4 to 3-5.
The U12 ladies lost their round 6 match to Kilmihil 7-6 to 2-3. Congrats to the team on making the Group 3 final - which will be played on or before the 27th August.
Fixtures:
The Junior Ladies play round 2 of their championship at home this evening (THURSDAY) at 7pm in the secondary school pitch v Newmarket.
The Senior Men start their senior championship on Friday v Ennistymon. The match is in Corofin and throw-in is at 7pm. Tickets and parking info can be found here.
The Junior Men travel to Ballynancally on Bank Holiday Monday to kick off their championship v Lissycasey at 2pm.

Field Development: The grass on the pitch is coming along nicely and the adult teams trained there this week and the results were good. Work on the fencing and other ancillary work is nearing completion. The amount of volunteer labour and equipment that is being supplied by our members is unbelievable and it’s a credit to the club and community to have such great support. The project literally would not have been possible without it.
Ladies Intermediate All Ireland Final: The club is taking the U10-U14 ladies to Croke Park on Sunday 13th August to see the Clare Ladies play Kildare in the All Ireland Intermediate Final. The match is a repeat of the 2016 Final which Clare lost.
Win a House in Ennis:
The Clare County Board is currently running a draw called Win A House In Ennis. The top prize is a house in Ennis or a cash equivalent of €330,000. The club gets €30 for each hard copy ticket that is sold and €20 for an online purchase when our club is nominated. If interested in a ticket, please contact any member of the executive.
Lotto: The lotto jackpot is €8,800 and 3 tickets can be purchased for as little as €5 with no commitment by tapping here. Lotto is also available in the pubs and shops and outside Centra on Friday and Saturday from 10-1pm.
